Your first hello
A fresh start.
Four thoughtful steps.
Start with one inbox and one real conversation. Here's the path from a new workspace to a team that feels at home.
Make it feel like your team.
Create an account and workspace, then give your inbox a name. Set your brand color, greeting, and business hours. These are the details that make your customer’s first hello feel familiar.
Check: your team name and welcome message look right.
Create your workspacePut a welcoming door on your website.
Open your workspace settings to get the messenger installation instructions. Add the snippet to your website and allow your website’s origin. Visit as a customer, send a message, and reply from the inbox.
Check: your test conversation appears in both the messenger and the inbox.

Configure the receiving address and forward your support email to it. Inbound routing and outbound sender verification are separate steps. Complete both, then send a real test email and reply to it before inviting customer traffic.
Check: receiving, threading, and replies work with your own mailbox.

Invite your teammates to the workspace. Assign your test conversation, add a private note, and try a saved reply. Agree on what open, pending, snoozed, and resolved mean for your team.
Check: your teammate can see the conversation and the private note stays private.

Start your help center with one good answer.
Pick a question you hear often. Write a short article, add it to a collection, and keep it in draft while you review. Publish it and check the public help center as a visitor. Then keep building from real customer questions.
A little less busy. A lot more human.
